Terms of Service

1. The service

Seydo lets you request, confirm and pay for real-world services through a chat conversation. Current service categories include travel assistance (flights, hotels, eSIM), international mobile top-ups (airtime and data), and payment facilitation. Services are fulfilled through third-party providers; Seydo acts as an intermediary that researches options, presents them for your approval, and places the order on your behalf once you confirm.

Seydo is currently in early access. Features and availability may change, and access may be granted progressively.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the service. You agree to provide accurate account information, to keep your credentials confidential, and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

3. Orders, prices and payments

Every order shows the full price — including our fees and any applicable currency conversion — before you confirm. No payment is taken without your explicit confirmation of the order.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers that are certified under PCI-DSS (for example card processors and licensed mobile-money aggregators). Seydo never stores your full card number. Depending on your region, you may pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or mobile money, in supported currencies.

4. Mobile top-ups and digital services

Airtime and data top-ups are delivered through licensed operators and aggregators. You are responsible for verifying the recipient's phone number before confirming an order. Top-ups that have been successfully delivered to the number you provided are generally non-refundable, as set out in our Refund Policy.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Failed or undelivered transactions are refunded automatically to your original payment method. All other situations are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use and compliance

You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, including fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or transactions involving sanctioned persons or territories. Our payment and delivery partners are regulated entities; to comply with their anti-money-laundering obligations, we may request identity verification before processing certain orders and may refuse, suspend or reverse transactions that present a compliance risk.

• Do not submit orders on behalf of third parties without their authorization.
• Do not attempt to probe, disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
• Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent limits.

7. Intellectual property

The service, including its software, design and content, is owned by Synapt Technologies Inc. and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Travel, telecom and other underlying services are provided by third parties under their own terms, which apply to your booking or order. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim arising out of an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules in your place of residence.
